Blogging has taken a back seat lately - mostly because I'm dealing with the mess you see in this photo above. This is the dining room. It's where everything goes that we don't know what to do with. We have much more storage in this house, but it's different storage. We used to have two large closets in our living room that held my sewing stuff, games, office supplies, camera equipment, and everything else we wanted to throw in there. Stuff that didn't have a room it belonged in. Now, I don't know where to put that stuff and so I sit and stare and move things around and put away 1 or 2 things and then sit and stare some more because I can't figure it out.
However, the other rooms are starting to come together. I love our family room!!!! (Ignore the window screens and computer cord on the left side of the photo.)
And the boys have been busy, too. As I've mentioned before, we're replacing all the brass hardware and fixtures with oiled bronze ones, including the door hinges. And Daddy's been busy teaching Andrew how to use the drill to take out the screws holding the hinges in place.
I love the expression on Andrew's face in these photos!
He loves being able to do stuff like this with his Daddy. :)
And I love to watch him!
