I would LOVE some design advice and, more importantly, some links to bedding. I'm currently working on Andrew's room. Here's how his room looked in the old house.
In his new room, he has this bunkbed.
And so I now need 2 bedspreads and I only have one bedspread. His bedding is Nautica's Malibu Stripe and is, just my luck, discontinued. Here's a close-up of the bedding. I absolutely love it! And that thin navy stripe looks FABULOUS with the dark wood bunkbed!
So....I need some design advice. I love this bedding sooooo much and (also for financial reasons) I don't want to replace it. I have looked everywhere online and can't find another Nautica Malibu Stripe Comforter. So, I'm looking for a coordinating comforter to go on the bottom bunk. I'd prefer to keep the primary colors light blue, orange and dark blue.
His valance is this orange University of Texas valance below. It's not absolutely necessary that the comforter have the same orange but that would be a bonus.
I've seen some Pottery Barn Kids comforters that are beautiful but the patterns are just too busy, I think.
So, I'm asking for help. And links, please, of any bedding that you think might coordinate. I know there's a bunch of design gurus out there and I need help. :)
