The weather here in Indiana has been amazing for October. We've been in the 80s for the past few days and should have a few more wonderful days ahead of us. After a couple of weeks of shivering and turning the furnace on, the outside temps were a bit of a shock at first but we settled into a wonderful, lazy, family-filled weekend.
And, to top it all off, Tom and I had dinner sans children with wonderful friends last night. We laughed for hours and hours and I can't wait to do it again.
The drive over to the neighboring town was beautiful.
And, because of the warm weather, we were able to dine outside. I asked for extra lime with my gin and tonic and this is what I got. :)
And we stayed and laughed and stayed and laughed until this was done.
