Sharyn and I have a weird, really cool, make-the-hair-on-the-back-of-your-neck-stand-up kind of friendship. We often call each other sisters because we always seem to do the same things at the same time without any knowledge of the other's activities until they're over. We are very in sync with each as we like to call it.
Today was no exception. We had no idea that we were both making patchwork quilts. At the same time. I've even used some vintage sheets in mine just like hers. I've been posting my photos for the past few weeks but only on Instagram and she doesn't have an Instagram account so we had no idea.
As you can see, Becky is my helper. We've been at a standstill for a couple of weeks because my sewing machine is being repaired. And then yesterday I remembered that I had my mother's old machine in the closet so we're back in business.
Sync Sharyn! It's a weird connection but one that I love. :)
