In honor of throwback Thursday and my husband who was giving me a hard time this morning, here's one of the first digital scrapbook pages I ever made. Read the journaling. ;) Totally true story!
Journaling: It was truly a simple request on my part. “Honey, could you take a picture of the clouds out the window, please?” “Sure, sweetie,” he replied. He takes a few minutes to compose the shot and make sure that he has a focal point and even takes an extra shot just in case. All just like I taught him. He proudly hands me the camera and shows me these lovely pictures of the back of the seat in front of him. Sigh. I silently curse the moment that I agreed to let him have the window seat and try not to look too upset. I take a deep breath, count to ten, and I decide to try my 9-year-old daughter. I hand her my camera
and don’t even bother to instruct her how to use it. A few seconds later, she hands me back the camera with a sly grin. And this is the shot she took! Ah, my sweet daughter comes through with flying colors ! She even captured the plane’s wing for a wonderful perspective. Perfect! As I’m thanking her profusely for taking such a great shot and gushing over the composition of it, my husband says ruefully, “You oughta make a scrapbook page out of it.” HA! I knew I kept him around for something! Great idea, honey!
