Two months ago, I messaged my friend Sharyn and said, "Hmmmm......did you see Ali Edwards' 'Week in the Life' kit?" Two hours later, she replied something along the lines of "You're the worst. I looked it up and pre-ordered it."
And I laughed and laughed because we do that to each other. Encourage, enable, egg each other on... And then I pre-ordered it, too.
I was sooooooo excited. So excited that I was upset when I found out how long I had to wait for it to arrive.
And now that it's here and I've taken my photos - which I LOVED and will write more about later - I spent hours looking at the kit and doing nothing.
It's all so pretty. And I'm envious of everyone who immediately knows what to do with all of this. At one time, I would have, too.
Instead I moved to my laptop and went through my photos.
And then promptly designed my own digital templates for the project.
So I give anyone permission to call me out the next time you see or hear me talking about ordering a kit. Traditional scrapbooking just causes me stress.
