Every time I go through this album, I fall in love with it just a little bit more. I'm even contemplating doing a December Daily album in the same format.
I'm not sure I've mentioned it before but the album is a 6 x 8 album and it's my first time using this size. And I absolutely love it. It's small enough to carry around easily in one hand yet more than big enough to see the pictures and read the journaling clearly. I was worried about the 2 x 2 photos being too small but they're not at all.
That's enough chatting - here are the the pages. I used the same formula I used on previous pages. You can see all the cover pages here, Monday here, and Tuesday here.
I made sure to include the music I'm listening to and the book I was reading. Those kind of momentos are really fun to look back on.
Thursday's cover photo is of Emily before school. It's her chore to feed the cats every morning and she's got them trained to follow her when she gets out a spoon. It's pretty cute.
It's not always easy to include photos of myself (and even more awkward to post them here and blog about them) but it's important to include me in the albums. I know from my own experience that kids love to look back at photos of their parents so I included a photo of me getting my hair cut and highlighted. I guarantee this will give them a laugh.
Yep, I'm THAT mom who has to stop and get gas in my jammies.
The photo at the bottom of the page is one of those "keeping it very real" photos. LOL. It's a photo of Andrew and me immediately upon waking up and going downstairs on a school morning and totally captures our routine. We snuggle on the bench and try to wake up by reading.
I included a couple of 2 x 2 photos in 3 x 4 pockets and I love the way it turned out.
