If you've ever been a scrapbooker, ever thought of scrapbooking, ever even talked to a scrapbooker, you've probably heard of December Daily. It's a memory-keeping project where you take one photo per day or create one page per day and reflect upon the daily holiday blessings. Or challenges! Seriously, that's part of the holidays and I always find that December comes with challenges.
I've created a December Daily album almost every year since 2005 and I've put my thinking cap on for what to do with my album this year. My thinking cap is really just my reading glasses because that's one of my current challenges. I simply cannot see without them over my contacts.
What I have so far is my camera, a red 6x8 album, a bunch of different page protectors with pockets sized 6x8, 4x6, 3x4, and 2x2. The 2x2 is left over from my Week in the Life and I'm excited to use that with this album.
Because I've been doing these albums for so long, my stash is quite impressive. Besides my Project Life supplies, my holiday products are the only traditional products I still have. I pulled out some things that are calling to me and wow, are they old! A bit of shimmer, a bit of plaid (I'm all about the plaid this year), and some ribbon.
I also have these gold stickers left over from Week in the Life along with this chipboard reindeer.
And the reindeer immediately made me think of this file from Cathy Zielske so it's going in there somewhere, too. I'm thinking of going through Cathy's products again because I love the simplicity of her products.
I'm probably also going to use one of Ali Edwards' templates. I have a bunch of older ones and I'll just change the dates but she has some gorgeous new ones at AliEdwards.com if you want to keep it even more simple.
I've also been going through my old albums and will put up a few links on the sidebar as I get them organized. I love going through the older albums and using them as inspiration.
Here we go! Bring on December!
