I think I'm going to start a new blog series about losing all motivation to scrapbook and then finding it again. Seriously. That's the story of my life for these past six weeks. I wait for days to scrapbook, have some great ideas, find the time to sit down and work on a layout and then immediately think, "Nope. Don't have the motivation to do it." And then I walk away from it. What the heck is wrong with me? The same thing happened a couple of weeks ago.
Somehow I found the motivation again this weekend to scrapbook and it was a paper layout again. So freaking weird. But hey, I loved it so I'm just going to go with it.
Once again, I used some supplies from Ali Edwards' February Story Kit and some Project Life Value Kits. The prompt was from Ali - she documented both 7am and 7pm on a certain day last week and I followed along. It turned into a great prompt for some routines around here that I loved documenting.
I love designing on a grid and the AM and PM overlays are 3" squares so I cropped my photos to the same size and made one large square. The am/pm plastic piece fit perfectly in the middle.
I made my journaling on a 4x6 piece of photo paper and trimmed it to 3x6 so that it fit right beside the photos and made everything consistent.
Since everything was square and the same size, I wanted the journaling to respect the consistency and wrote in a similar vein with each section. Routines are good to document and I love that my photos were of both a new routine and an old one. The circle sticker fit perfectly in the middle.
Supplies used: Supplies: The today overlay and circle sticker are both products I picked up recently - I think they're Heidi Swap products. The gold stars are from the Project Life Gold Foil Value Kit. The tan word phrases are leftover from Ali Edwards' Week in the Life Kit and everything else is from Ali Edwards' AM/PM Story Kit.
