Ali Edwards' Week in the Life project is one of my favorite scrapbooking albums to do. It's a lot of work, a lot of planning, and a lot of photos but so very worth it. Last year's album is one of my very favorites. Basically, you take photos all week long of your everyday life and document them in an album at the end of the week.
I had to do this year's week a bit later than Ali did so I just finished up on Sunday and thought I'd share some random photos. I'm going to start organizing the kit today and choosing some preliminary photos.
This photo is from Monday and I love it! It's the girls arriving home after a day of high school and I love that I was able to catch them pulling into the driveway.
And then I was able to catch them both as they walked in. When you're dealing with teens, sometimes you have to stalk them. And I'm totally okay with that.
Lucky for me, the kids are usually okay with it and put up with my stalking. Although early mornings are not their favorites. ;)
And sometimes the photos are more boring. But my kitchen counter is my control center and totally represents where I spend a lot of time.
I also love the photos of the kids just being themselves. And being still.
Documenting them and their lives is my favorite thing to do. And right now, that includes a lot of technology. They all have phones and school provides a computer for each child so technology plays a large role in their lives.
So do sports right now for Andrew. This was the toughest run of his life. Enormous hills and double the normal length.
Our biggest fur baby:)
And when I'm really lucky, I catch the elusive husband with the camera, too!
I added a Week in the Life button on the sidebar on my right. It will link to last year's photos and albums as well as this year's (upcoming) album if you'd like an easy way to see everything together.
