I'm still here! And still working on Project Life and all my other albums but I've slowed down quite a bit. I've got two quick layouts to share today but first, I have to explain what's taking up my time right now.
We're hosting a German exchange student and we're having so much fun with her and the other students! I have a house full of teenagers most nights and I absolutely love it. :) So there's not much else getting done besides driving kids around, food shopping, cooking, and cleaning but it's exactly what I want to be doing right now. LOVE having a house full of happy teenagers. :)
Okay, so on to the layouts. They're both single page layouts which has become my preference. I love the simplicity of one page that consists of simple photos and stories. These are both from this past spring.
Week 12's layout includes one of my favorite photos of Sawyer. This is how he sleeps most of the time and it's just so darn cute. :) It also includes the story of Emily's first blood donation. And how she fainted not just once afterwards, but three times!!! And our first concert of 2015 - I'm a happy momma when I'm at a concert dancing and singing with my kids.
Week 13 includes a lot of photos but the primary story is how the girls reacted to Zayn Malik's departure from One Direction. We live and breathe music in our house and this was a bad, bad week for my girls. Becky Higgins shared this layout earlier this month and I'm so glad she did. It may seem silly or funny to base a layout on something like this but stuff like this is a huge part of our everyday, moment-to-moment life and that's exactly what I want to remember.
